Event Description:
Spend the day outdoors with Flutter Farm’s Butterfly Festival at Southwestern Illinois College Red Bud Campus. With events for all ages, you won’t want to miss out on the fun!
SWIC’s Butterfly Festival will provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about the insects and pollinators that surround us, but in family friendly way.
Activities at the event will include:
- Monarch habitat and insect/pollinator information table
- Build an insect hotel
- Inflatables for all ages
- SWIC Ollie’s Eatery Food Truck
- Nature Scavenger Hunt and more!
The RBC “Flutter Farm” butterfly garden is a Monarch Watch approved waystation and was made possible by a SWIC Foundation Enhancement Grant.
