Graduates earn 799 degrees, certificates from Casper College


About 28.4 percent of the 799 degrees and certificates handed out by Casper College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Casper conferred 150 associate's degrees and 77 certificates in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in general studies. Data shows the school gave out 102 associate's degrees in general studies, followed by 46 certificates in licensed practical/vocational nurse training and 44 associate's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The college enrolled 3,409 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
